Why is it necessary to take the TOEFL or IELTS?
It is necessary to take the TOEFL or the IELTS as this is the way in which universities ensure that international students have a sufficient level of English to be able to attend classes and take exams in said language. The minimum score is determined by each university. These scores can be found on the webpage of each university.

The application processes to universities can be very tedious, since they have multiple processes and requirements. It is important to understand what the universities are looking for and how the application process works, as it is a complex process that takes into account many variables. Because of this, it is advisable to have guidance throughout this journey.
How many universities can we apply to?
We recommend that you apply from 8 to 12 universities, because with this number you will have a range of possibilities. You will have enough probabilities of acceptance, but the number of applications is not that high, and therefore won’t affect the quality of your application.
Is it easy to make friends?
This is one of the strengths of the Dream program. Because the student is being guided by students or alumni of the best universities in the world, this guarantees that the student gets to learn about these non-academic aspects first-hand.
How feasible is it to work and study in the different places?
Universities abroad and student visas allow, in most cases, to work up to 20 hours a week. Many students study and work at the same time and universities offer some paid positions to work at the institution (Work-Study Opportunities). These positions are usually in places like bookstores, cafeterias or restaurants of the university.
To work after completing your studies, you usually must obtain a work visa that is sponsored by the student’s employer. Usually, many students choose to stay in the country of the institution or even apply to other destinations. Having a foreign degree allows you to have a much more competitive profile.
